That sense of stability was shattered when an outbound shuttle was struck by a beam of energy erupting from beneath a nearby mountain range — fired just moments after an unidentified cloaked vessel fled orbit.
The resulting subspace surge rippled through the colony, tearing open a dimensional rift that swallowed roughly twenty percent of the population along with two smaller surface structures. In a flash of light, those taken were gone — leaving behind confusion, damage, and the haunting question of where they had been sent.
They awaken aboard Crossroads Station, orbiting an artificial M-class planet at the heart of a multiversal nexus — a convergence of realities stabilized and administered by ShadowDragon Enterprises. The station serves as a crossroads for science, diplomacy, and enterprise, connecting countless worlds and civilizations from across the dimensions.
Offered refuge on the planet below, the displaced survivors establish Solace Colony, determined to rebuild a fragment of the Federation’s spirit in a universe a century ahead of their own — one that has never known Starfleet.
